    TSM is now unavailable for client access as SMEs perform emergency maintenance.  

    TSM team can provide access to individual users doing restore requests (only) by email to tsm@uh.edu.

    The TSM Backup Service is currently unavailable. The backup process last night did not complete due to the TSM database reaching capacity. This is not a storage issue and and all backed up data is secure.

    The ability to perform new backup processes is severely limited. An upgrade to TSM has been underway and will be available in a matter of days. In the meantime, the TSM team is working to restore backup services for critical information resources including BlackBoard, Peoplesoft, Exchange, and Cougarnet file services. 

    This issue will prevent backup of non-critical resources. As a precaution, it is strongly recommended that departmental staff consider alternative backup strategies for important data that is stored outside  the Cougarnet file share. University Information Technology anticipate that the TSM upgrade will be complete within one week.
